Jess also sings with crip folk trio the Bearbrass Asylum Orchestra. The Bearbrass Asylum Orchestra was formed in 2014 by Anthea Skinner. The band has played for Quippings, festivals, corporate gigs, weddings, and won a Peoples Choice Award for their fist music video.

Jess also plays Jam Boxx and is involved in accessible music projects and practice at the University of Melbourne.
