ABOUT

The Waiting Room Arts Company is a Disability-Led, Disability Arts company, based in Naam / Melbourne. Established in 2017 by Jessica Kapuscinski-Evans, the company tackles the taboos around disability, and forges new pathways into stories of disability culture and intersectional storytelling.

The Company places access at the core of its work.

'Spaced' is the company’s first multi-sensory production, paying attention to Auslan, Audio Description, and alternative formats.

'Murder, She Dictated' reflects an aesthetic of access, where lived experience and access inform the core of the story and the style and design of the show.

The Company works with young and emerging artists from intersectional communities, focusing on multi-disciplinary and theatrical work.
